MD should place order for chest or sinus CT scan in Epic.

Nurse should then call the facility the patient prefers to have the scan done to: -ask if PA is needed, and if so, if the facility does them or if we should (flag KK2 to submit if needed) -schedule the CT scan if possible -obtain fax number / fax copy of CT scan order to the facility -obtain facility NPI number and address for the radiology dept

X-Rays don't require PA. CT scans typically do require PA unless the plan is an ACO / MassHealth or Medicare based plan.
